Ausstellerprofil
Ireland - a country famous for its rich heritage, fascinating culture, magnificent scenery and warm welcome.
The traditional welcome here in Gaelic (our native language) is 'Cead Mile Failte' which means, 'One Hundred Thousand Welcomes' and that is the kind of hospitality you will find in Ireland.
Donegal Adventure Centre (DAC) is Ireland's largest Surf and Outdoor Education Centre which has been delivering residential language, cultural and surf experiences to youths (8-18 years) from Europe, USA and Ireland since 2002.
Donegal Adventure Centre campus is located in Bundoran, a famous seaside resort that has been welcoming holiday makers since 1777. Donegal is Ireland's second largest county and is renowned for its beauty, scenery and history. So much so, Donegal was recently named the 'Coolest Place On The Planet' by National Geographic in 2018. We are perfectly located along the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. Surrounded by world-renowned beaches with excellent surfing, and we are home to the highest sea cliffs in Europe - Sliabh Liag. There are many more beautiful places nearby, such as national parks and gardens which we visit on our day tours.
Bundoran is easily accessible from Ireland’s main airports and we provide return transfers to the following;
We have successfully delivered outdoor sport, cultural and English learning programmes for AFS (Germany), The Institute of Study Abroad (Ireland), Delta Iodones (Spain), Sport & Language (France) among others.
Donegal Adventure Centre also offers Gap / Erasmus learning opportunities for adult learners (age 18 and up) as part of our 3-month Outdoor Instructor Training Course, where we provide young adults training to prepare for a career in providing outdoor sports while gaining an insight into Irish culture and our way of life.
