Stuttgart Citytour The red, open-top, Mercedes double-decker buses invite visitors to discover the city on a tour with a difference. Its hopon/hop-off principle gives them the opportunity to explore the city on three different routes according to their individual preferences.

Museum of Viniculture Stuttgart's Museum of Viniculture has been in existence since 1979. In the historical ambience of the Old Winepress in the district of Uhlbach, the history of wine growing is presented in a modern, state-of-the-art exhibition.

Mercedes-Benz Museum In the Mercedes-Benz Museum you can experience the over 130-year-old history of the automobile and the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand from day one to the present. The total area of 16 500 square metres presents 160 vehicles and more than 1 500 other exhibits.

Porsche Museum The exhibition area of 5 600 square metres tells the story of these Stuttgart sports car producers with over 80 vehicles and 200 smaller items. The glass-fronted museum workshop allows visitors to watch the restoration of classic Porsche vehicles.

Stuttgart Television Tower The tower is one of the most outstanding cultural monuments in the Stuttgart Region. Visitors can admire the magnificent views from its two-storeyed observation deck at a height of 150 metres above ground. No other location in Stuttgart provides such wonderful tele-vision in the true sense of the word.

Motorworld Region Stuttgart Design hotel, event location and an exhibition of mobile classics – in the historic listed building at the former Böblingen/Sindelfingen airfield, the MOTORWORLD Region Stuttgart incorporates a host of automotive passions on an area of 50,000 m². Restoration workshops and sales rooms are augmented by exclusive catering.

The Bauhaus Print Portfolios 45 artists – from Willi Baumeister to Umberto Boccioni and Oskar Schlemmer – together produced a portfolio of graphic art in which the concept of Modernism could be internationally duplicated, distributed and offered to collectors.

Ludwigsburg Palace Festival In 2020 the time-honoured Ludwigsburg Palace Festival will once again present a varied and innovative programme of classical music, jazz, dance, theatre and literature.

jazzopen stuttgart In the summer of 2020 Baden-Württemberg's state capital will be the hotspot of the jazz scene: for the 27th time now, stars of the international jazz, blues, soul and pop scene will meet in Stuttgart to appear at the jazzopen stuttgart. Audiences can look forward to Sting, Lenny Kravitz und Jamie Cullum, to name but a few.

Stuttgart Wine Village This is one of Germany's biggest and best wine festivals. Its cosy booths have over 500 wines from Baden and Württemberg on offer, while Stuttgart's chefs serve Swabian specialities such as Kässpätzle (cheesy noodles), Maultaschen (filled pasta) or Schupfnudeln (potato noodles) with sauerkraut.

Stuttgart Beer Festival The seven beer tents, one wine tent and the "Alpine Village" can hold over 32.000 guests. All around the "Fruchtsäule" – the festival's symbolic column of fruit – more than 320 showmen, hosts and stallholders present a wide range of attractions.

With all the Senses! French Painting The temporary exhibition focuses on the French Impressionists. Thanks to a selection of around 80 works on loan from private owners, many of which have rarely or never before been put on show, along with paintings from its own collections, the State Gallery can illustrate the entire history of the development of this epoch.

Now or Never. 50 Years of the LBBW Collection The exhibition presents outstanding works from all sections of the LBBW art collection. The collection dates back to the year 1971. At first the focus of the collection was on art from the Stuttgart Region and Baden-Württemberg, but in the 1990s it was extended to include works by international artists.

Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market On the Baroque marketplace bordered by arcades in the heart of Ludwigsburg the weeks preceding Christmas are a time of winter magic. Huge angels watch over the 180 stalls of Ludwigsburg's Baroque Christmas Market.

Esslingen Medieval and Christmas Market There are merchants in period costumes peddling their wares, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and artists and fire eaters making merry around the 200 stalls.

25.11. – 23.12.2020
Stuttgart Christmas Market
With around 290 stalls and a tradition of more than 300 years, this is one of the oldest and biggest of its kind in Europe. The stalls around the Old Palace and the marketplace are ornately and lovingly decorated with much attention to detail.

25.11. – 28.12.2020
Glanzlichter Stuttgart (Winter illuminations) Eight light sculptures on Palace Square and the illuminations in Königstrasse brighten the city centre in the dark weeks of winter. The centrepiece of the installations are the light sculptures on Palace Square. Up to six metres high, they represent eight of the city's main tourist attractions.
